This software, which translates computer music files into braille, is the brainchild of Phil McCann, a blind Philadelphia programmer and amateur trumpet player. It relies on music software staples -- Lime and MIDI -- to create, store and exchange scores on the computer. The software also uses existing programs to store and edit braille coding.It needs a sighted person to proofread the copy. With GOODFEEL, Braille translation, proofreading and printing takes about 2 weeks.
