TMI is preparing for our upcoming national conference held in conjunction with the College Music Society (CMS) will be held in Minneapolis, MN from September 23-26, 2010. As you make plans to attend the conference, all ATMI members and other conference attendees are encouraged to attend the annual ATMI/CMS pre-conference Technology Workshop, held the day before the ATMI/CMS national conference begins. There will be an election of new officers for ATMI at this years National Conference. Nominations for Vice President and Treasurer have been accepted. All candidate information is now posted. Please read each bio carefully before voting. Voting information will be posted shortly.

The ATMI Executive Committee has met to discuss the results of this survey, and will use it as a roadmap to improving the organization in the future. 2009 Best Student Presentation Award
he executive board of ATMI and the 2009 Program Committee are pleased to announce VJ Manzo as the recipient of the 2009 ATMI outstanding student presentation award. VJ's session was entitled "Alternative Instruments for Music Education: Guitar Hero Controllers, Wii-motes, Lasers and More as Musical Instruments in the Classroom." In conjunction with this award, VJ will receive both a monetary prize and the honor of being selected through a peer-review process. VJ is currently a doctoral student at Temple University and on the music education faculty of both Montclair State and Kean University. On behalf of all of the membership of ATMI, a hearty congratulations to VJ.
METOS 2010 Online Conference
